I have to say it: the hallways at school are immensely overcrowded. Every passing period feels like you’re being crammed together with a bunch of strangers like a pack of stinky sardines. It’s hot, loud, chaotic and sometimes the air gets so stuffy that you can literally feel people breathing down your neck. Hard. At this point, it feels like the building is more like clowns in a circus that’s way too close to hitting its carrying capacity.
What makes it worse is how rude people are too! They shove and push you without a single “excuse me.” What is so hard about saying two words? TWO words. Then, on the flip side, are the slow walkers. They’ve got to be breaking a world record because they are somehow slower than snails. They travel in giant groups and take up the entire hallway, making it feel like you’re fighting for your life on American Ninja Warrior’s obstacles trying to pass. Don’t even get me started on the people who stop in the middle of the hallway. There are thousands of students trying to get somewhere, why is moving to the side so hard? That’s like parking in the middle of the highway. The audacity some people have is truly an eye opener.
