I know this review might seem a little late, but it is never too late to start watching some really good TV shows. One show that I would recommend to everyone is Grown-ish. This show is a spin-off from the TV show Black-ish. It follows a girl named Zoey who is trying to make the most of her college experience. She meets her group of friends along the way and it goes from there.

I really admire this show as a junior in high school who has to start thinking about all that college stuff like: where I want to go and what I want to do. The show is very realistic to me, and on top of that, the show is pure comedy. During one episode, I was laughing so hard I cried. This show isn’t just for teenagers like me, but also for adults who maybe need to see what college is like these days, or for the adults who want to remember how they were in college. My mom and I look at this show together and enjoy it all the same.

This show goes through everything from dating to figuring out who you are. College is the time where people start stressing about what they are going to do with their lives and where they want to end up. It’s a time for people to grow up and learn what the world really has to offer. Our parents are no longer packing our lunches or paying for everything. Grown-ish does an excellent job with bringing those stresses to light. Season one and season two are already out. The show did get renewed for a season three. Grown-ish comes on every Wednesday on Freeform at 7:00 or 8:00 at night. I believe that people will look at this show and fall in love with it.
