“Gossip Girl” is a TV show on “The CW” that first premiered on September 19, 2007 and ended on December 17, 2012. Though the show ended quite a few years ago, you can still go on Netflix where it has all 6 seasons ready for you to watch.

The show follows Serena van der Woodsen (played by Blake Lively) and her life when she comes back to her hometown, New York City, after leaving for about a year. The show starts off dramatically when Serena’s best friend, Blair Waldorf (played by Leighton Meester), gives her the cold shoulder and Serena doesn’t know why.

Blair is arguably the mean girl in the show, because what’s a teen drama without a mean girl? To make matters worse, an anonymous source who goes by “Gossip Girl” posts every second of their lives online for their whole school to see. Serena’s first love interest, Dan Humphrey (played by Penn Badgley), is there to help her out with all the extra boy drama and her friend drama as soon as things start getting crazy. As for Dan’s little sister, Jenny Humphrey (played by Taylor Momsen), well she better watch out for Blair, because it seems Blair is trying to make a little mini-me out of Jenny. Eventually, Serena and Blair make up, but who is Gossip Girl, and why do they seem to be everywhere the girls are and trying to capture all their little disagreements and putting them online?

Though the culprit behind Gossip Girl isn’t revealed until the last season, the show was interesting enough with all the drama that happened within it, and is definitely worth watching to see who it really is at the very end.
